Solarnative Wins Best Pitch Award
Solarnative wins Best Pitch Award
At the Infineon Startup Night on November 9th, 2022 at Campeon in Munich/Neubiberg, the photovoltaic startup Solarnative won the Best Pitch competition.
Five startups from the Infineon Co-Innovation Program presented their innovative tech solutions in 5‑minute pitches to the audience of more than 650 people made up of Infineon Technologies AG employees and some external guests. Afterwards, a live voting, in which all guests were invited to use their smartphones to vote for one of the startups, brought out the winner of the evening: Solarnative convinced the biggest number of guests with its Smart Energy Home and the Power Stick, the smallest and fastest inverter in the world, in which 8 chips from Infineon are currently incorporated. In a short award ceremony, Managing Director Julian Mattheis was presented with the prize of the evening: a challenge trophy in the shape of a rocket, which had already been awarded to the startups Dryad (2021), Breeze (2020) and Innatera (2019) in previous years. In his short acceptance speech, Mattheis promised that he would not launch the rocket into space – and if he did, then it would only use solar energy generated with their own products. Solarnative will hold the trophy for one year – then it will be passed on to a new up-and-coming company from the Infineon Co-Innovation Program at the next Startup Night.
