Highest energy

Make the most of your avail­able roof space! A PV sys­tem with Solar­na­tive micro-invert­ers is com­plete­ly flex­i­ble! Each mod­ule is con­trolled indi­vid­u­al­ly, so all kinds of dif­fer­ent roof ori­en­ta­tions, incli­na­tions, and shad­ing con­di­tions can be com­bined. You can just install what­ev­er fits on the roof and max­i­mize the pow­er of your sys­tem. Our micro-invert­ers make sure that you will always get the high­est amount of ener­gy out of your modules.

In total, in many cas­es, a Solar­na­tive sys­tem deliv­ers 30–50 % more ener­gy than a stan­dard PV sys­tem on the same roof.

Safe by Design

PV sys­tems with Solar­na­tive micro-invert­ers have no dan­ger­ous DC volt­ages and there is no risk of fire. There is nev­er any dan­ger to fire­fight­ers. On the con­trary, stan­dard PV sys­tems have sys­tem volt­ages up to 1,000 V, which can­not be switched off. Not even in case of a fire. More­over, they can cause arc­ing which can ulti­mate­ly cause a fire as well.

What is more, with Solar­na­tive micro-invert­ers, the risk of light­ning surges is also dras­ti­cal­ly reduced. There are no big cur­rent loops on the roof that can act as “light­ning antennas”.

Built to last

Stan­dard string invert­ers for res­i­den­tial PV instal­la­tions typ­i­cal­ly last only 10–15 years. It is wise to plan for replac­ing the invert­er at least once dur­ing the life­time of a PV system.

There­fore, such invert­ers typ­i­cal­ly come with prod­uct war­ranties of only 5 years.

Solar­na­tive micro-invert­ers, on the oth­er hand, have a rev­o­lu­tion­ary cool­ing con­cept. We have minia­tur­ized invert­ers that use mod­ule frames and mount­ing rails as high­ly effec­tive cool­ing fins, there­by reduc­ing the tem­per­a­ture inside the invert­er by up to 20–30 °C.

With every 10 degrees cool­er device tem­per­a­ture, life­time rough­ly dou­bles, so the the life­time of our prod­ucts is increased by a fac­tor 4–8, so that we can eas­i­ly give a war­ran­ty of 25 years.

Future ready

The Solar­na­tive Smart Ener­gy Home sys­tem is a mod­u­lar sys­tem that can eas­i­ly be expand­ed at a lat­er point in time.

The sys­tem is gener­ic and vir­tu­al­ly has no lim­i­ta­tions to the num­ber of devices in the sys­tem. You can add mul­ti­ple bat­tery stor­age sys­tems or elec­tric vehi­cle chargers.

The Smart Ener­gy Home is already com­pli­ant with the world’s most strin­gent reg­u­la­tion regard­ing grid sup­port func­tion­al­i­ty and we are design­ing it for future applications.

We regard our tech­nol­o­gy as an inte­gral part of the green ener­gy tran­si­tion into a cli­mate-neu­tral future. With your con­sent the smart ener­gy home can be extend­ed from your home towards a smart ener­gy swarm. We com­bine intel­li­gent grid ser­vices with smart func­tion­al­i­ty such as con­sum­ing and stor­ing pow­er at times it is cheap and abun­dant­ly avail­able. You will be able to use vehi­cle-to-home bi-direc­tion­al charg­ing and your bat­tery and your elec­tric vehi­cle can become active play­ers in the ener­gy sys­tem of the future.
